Tree tuesday picture - Luxembourg City capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg

My Tree Tuesday picture was taken in 2007 in Luxembourg City, which is the
capital of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Luxembourg City

The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a small country in Western Europe.
It is bordered by Belgium (west en north); Germany (east) and France (south).
The Congress of Vienna declared in 1815 that Luxembourg became a part
of the United Kingdom of The Netherlands.

Only in 1890 with the death of King William III, who died without male
heirs, Luxembourg had his own Grand Duke:
Adolf of Nassau-Weilburg.

As you can see on the picture, Luxembourg City has a beautiful landscape
and it also is listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

With this picture and little story,  I'd like to wish you all a very
good Tuesday.
