On March 8th. 2014, the world is celebrating 'International Women's Day'.
In 1911, Clara Zetkin, a German member of the Socialist Party, asked
to declare March 8th. as International Women's Day.

On March 8th. 1908, a first strike by women took place in New York.
This was against the bad working conditions in the textile industry.
The strike got a slogan: "Bread & Roses".
This strike was the start of women empowerment.In 1911, Clara Zetkin, a German member of the Socialist Party, asked
