Who was Prince Frederick of Great Britain?

On 13 May 1750, Prince Frederick of Great Britain was born as a son of 
Frederick, Prince of Wales and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Coburg. He was
a member of the House of Hanover. 




On 17 June 1750, Prince Frederick of Great Britain was christened. His
godparents were:

- Prince George, his brother who became later King George III; 
- Prince Wilhelm of Saxe-Coburg, his maternal uncle;
- Princess Augusta, his sister. 

Prince Frederick of Great Britain was intelligent and he read a lot of books,
but he had a bad health.




On 29 December 1765, at the age of 15 he died at Leicester House in London.

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg, Margarita was born at the Royal Palace in Athens on 18 April 1905.  Family Through her mother, Margarita was the eldest great-great grandchild of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom .
