Friedrich Karl August, Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont was born on 25 October 1743 in Zweibrücken (now a part of Germany). Friedrich Karl August with his parents, brothers and sisters. Family Friedrich was the second son of Karl August, Prince of Waldeck and Pyrmont and Countess Palatine Christiane Henriette of Zweibrücken-Birkenfeld.
