All About Royal Families

A decade of Modern Royal Style Recently, I saw an interesting book on Amazon. Although it wasn't about royal history, I was keen to read it, just because the main topics were fashion and style. It was a lovely book with lots of amazing pictures from the Duchess of Cambridge, born Catherine "Kate" Middleton. A picture of the Duchess of Cambridge a decade of modern royal style picture: book cover The author mentioned on which occassions the Duchess of Cambridge wore her most stylish clothes.  Anyway it is a lovely book and a quick read with mostly pictures, clear chapters and an easy language.  Besides that, it is well written and the author has done a lot of detailed research.  If you are interested in the British Royal family and in the Duchess of Cambridge then, this book is a must-read!  In 2022 The Duchess of Cambridge became the Princess of Wales. 

On 20 October 1941, Leopold Lippens was born as the son of Léon Lippens  and Suzanne Lippens. He was a grandson of Maurice August Lippens.  From 1970 Leopold Lippens entered the local politics of Knokke. From  1979 Leopold Lippens became the mayor of Knokke and Heist.  The Lippens family was original from Moerbeke Waas. Leopold's brother, Maurice was a board member of the Fortis Bank until the crisis of 2008. The collection of coins for their artistic value was a development and a real royal hobby. My own modest coin collection from the royal Family of Belgium received by my co-worker History Historical records state that in Ancient Rome and medieval Mesopotamia coins were collected and catalogued by scholars and state treasuries.  Emperor Augustus sometimes presented old and exotic coins to friends and courtiers during festivals and other special occasions. During the Renaissance it became a must among the members of the  priveleged classes, especially for Kings and Queens.  Many European Kings, princes and other nobility kept collections of ancient coins.  Collectors Emperor Maximilian I of Austria  (1459 - 1519) was a member of the House of Habsburg. On 11 February 1920, His Sultanic Higness Farouk bin Fuad, the Hereditary Prince of Egypt and Sudan was born at the Abdeen Palace in Cairo, Egypt.  Family His parents were King Fouad I of Egypt and Nazli Sabri. He was a member of the Muhammad Ali Dynasty. King Fouad I gave all of his children names starting with F after an Indian fortune-teller told him names starting with F would bring him good luck.  Early years Farouk was only allowed to see his mother once every day for one hour.
