George Frideric Handel also called Frederick Handel was a German born
British Baroque composer who spent a lot of time in London. He created
inter alia four coronation anthems.
One of them, Zadok the Priest was played on the coronation of
King George II of Great Britain, which took place on
October 11th. 1727.
