Today in History: September 11th. 1297 - Battle of Stirling Bridge

On September 11th. 1297, the Battle of Stirling Bridge took place.
It was the first Independence War of Scotland against England.

The Scots, joint-led by William Wallace and Andrew Moray, defeated the English.
Andrew Moay died due to his wounds of the Battle of Stirling Bridge.
