Royal families in Germany

The first King of Belgium was Leopold I. He came from the family
'Saxe-Coburg and Gotha'. Many European Royal Families are linked to this House.
So, I started to interest me in the history of German Royal - and noble families.
If you have suggestions, tips or comments feel free to post them!

In early modern times Brandenburg was one of the seven electoral states
in the Holy Roman Empire. From 1415 it was governed by members of the
House of Hohenzolleren. However in 1618 the Margraviate of Brandenburg
and the Duchy of Prussia were combined as Brandenburg-Prussia.
