Today in History - November 26th. 1869 - Maud of Wales
On November 26th. 1869, Maud of Wales was born in Marlborough House in London.
Her parents were Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (Later King Edward VII) and
Alexandra of Denmark.
She was (like my Today in History' yesterday,
Princess Victoria Melita of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha) a grandchild of
Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom.
She married Hakon VII and became Queen of Norway.
