Another tradition on New Year is the New Year's Concert in Vienna.

This is a concert of classical music that takes place every January 1st.
The concert is broadcasted around the world and has a huge audience.


I'm watching the concert on the television. The orchestra is now playing:
The Blue Danube 'An der schönen blauen Donau'.
A beautiful Waltz from Johann Strauss II.

Finally the orchestra ends with the Radetzky March (also a tradition).

Since 1996, the royal family's head is: Franz, Duke of Bavaria. So far is the situation nowadays but this royal familie has a very nice history.
