The Summer exhibition of 2019 at the Royal Palace in Brussels
On 16 August 2019, my husband and I went to the 2019's Summer
exhibition of the Royal Palace in Brussels.
For us, it is a yearly tradition to visit the Royal Palace in Brussels
during the opening in the summer months.
This year there are 2 special exhibitons.
1/ Royally adorned. Royal uniforms
This is about the costumes and uniforms of the former Kings and present
King of the Royal Family of Belgium.
This is an exhibition in collaboration with the War Herritage Institute.
2/ The moon: between dream and reality
Is a special exhibition which gives an original version about art and
science. It is a collaboration of 10 scientific institutes.
Besides these two interesting exhibitions there also is a part of Technopolis,
a To-Do to practice basic physics mechanisms, which always is interesting
for children.
I was personally more interested in the costumes and the uniforms
of the Royal Family of Belgium. It was nice to see that they have
clothes fit for every occasion.
These royal exhibitions will last until the opening of the Royal Palace
(25 August 2019).
I took these pictures in August 2019.
