Royal Destinations : Belvedere Palace in Vienna (Austria)

The Belvedere Palace is a complex located in Vienna (Capital of Austria) and consists of 2 buildings.

It houses a museum and can be visited (you can't take pictures inside). The Palace was built as a summer residence for Prince Eugene of Savoy.

The Belvedere Palace is a huge baroque complex with a large, beautiful garden. It was built for Prince Eugene of Savoy, a general for the Austrian Empire, who fought during the War of the Spanish Procession.

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg, Margarita was born at the Royal Palace in Athens on 18 April 1905.  Family Through her mother, Margarita was the eldest great-great grandchild of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom .
