One of the most striking hotels in Monaco is the Fairmont in Monte Carlo.

The headquarters of the Fairmont Hotels are located in Toronto (Canada).
The group has a lot hotels located around the world .

The Fairmont Monte Carlo is not directly a historical hotel, although it is 
connected with the Prince's family of Monaco.

The history of the Fairmont Hotels started in 1907 in San Francisco.
It became soon a landmark.

Over the world, the Fairmont Hotels hosted a lot of Royalty, inter alia members
of the British Royal Family.

In 1999 Fairmont Hotels joined forces with the Canadian Pacific Hotels. 
In 2006, it merged with the Kingdom Holding Company but Fairmont Hotels
still operated under their own name. 

Fairmont Hotels look ready for a new era of hosting a lot of Royalty and
famous people.

On 14 May 2022 Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan passed away at the age of 73. Family Khalifa was born on 7 September 1948 at Qasr Al-Muwaiji, Al Ain, in Abu Dhabi (then part of the Trucial States), the eldest son of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Hassa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Education   He was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Crown Prince When his father, Zayed, became Emir of Abu Dhabi in 1966, Khalifa was appointed the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Courts Department in Al Ain.
