Caroline Augusta of Bavaria was born on  February 8th. 1792.

Her parents were King Maximilian I of Bavaria and his first wife,
Augusta Wilhelmina of Hesse-Darmstadt.

In 1808, Caroline married William, Crown Prince of Württemberg.
This was arranged to avoid a political marriage organized by Napoleon.
After the ceremony her spouse said: "We are victims of politics".
They divorced in 1814. The marriage was dissolved by Pope Pius VII.

In 1816, Caroline married Francis I, Emperor of Austria & King of Hungary
and Bohemia. They had no children.

She became very popular in Austria, due to her charity work.
Caroline founded some hospitals and residences for the poor.

After the death of her husband, she moved to Salzburg.
Caroline was close friends with her sister, Archduchess Sophie of Austria and
with her niece, Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) as well.

Caroline Augusta of Bavaria died on February 9th. 1873.

On 14 May 2022 Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan passed away at the age of 73. Family Khalifa was born on 7 September 1948 at Qasr Al-Muwaiji, Al Ain, in Abu Dhabi (then part of the Trucial States), the eldest son of Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Hassa bint Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan Education   He was a graduate of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. Crown Prince When his father, Zayed, became Emir of Abu Dhabi in 1966, Khalifa was appointed the Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Courts Department in Al Ain.
