Eleanor Maria Josefa of Austria was born on May 21st. 1653 in Regensburg
(Germany).

Her parents were Ferdinand III, Holy Roman Emperor and Eleanor Conzaga.

In 1670 Eleanor married, Michael Korybut Wisniowiecki (later known as
King Michael I of Poland).

Eleanor learned Polish, although she preferred Latin, and accompanied
King Michael I on his official duties around Poland.

King Michael I died in 1673.

Later Eleanor married Charles, Duke of Lorraine on February 6th. 1678.
The couple moved to Innsbrück Austria. They had 6 children.

Eleanor died on December 17th. 1697 in Vienna (Austria).

The eldest daughter of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg, Margarita was born at the Royal Palace in Athens on 18 April 1905.  Family Through her mother, Margarita was the eldest great-great grandchild of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom . Contrary to the custom of the time, her father attended her birth because her grandmother, Queen Olga, believed that "it is only justice that men see the suffering they cause to their wives, and from which they completely escape".
