Maria Louise Albertine of Leiningen-Falkenburg-Dagsburg

 was born on March 16th. 1729 in Obrigheim (Germany).

Her parents had been Count Christian Karl Reinhard of
Leiningen-Falkenburg-Dagsburg and his wife
Countess Katharina Polyxena of Solms-Rödelheim.

On March 16th. 1748 she married Prince George William of
Hesse-Darmstadt.

Maria Louise was described as a magnificent person. But
she spoke mostly the Palatinate dialect.

She was the grandmother and educator of Princess
Louise of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, who later became
Queen Consort of Prussia.

Marie Louise Albertine of Leiningen-Falkenburg-Dagsburg died on
March 11st. 1818 at the age of 88.
