Who is Princess Eléonore of Belgium?

As a Belgian I'm very proud to introduce you Princess Eléonore of Belgium,
the youngest child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of the Belgians.

Princess Eléonore of Belgium
full name: Eléonore Fabiola Victoria Anne Marie of Belgium
was born 16 April 2008.

Family

She is the younger daughter and the youngest of four
children of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium.

She is currently fourth in line to the throne of Belgium after her older siblings
Princess Elisabeth, Duchess of Brabant, Prince Gabriel, and Prince Emmanuel.

She is the twelfth and youngest grandchild of King Albert II and Queen Paola.

Place of Birth

The princess was born in 16 April 2008 at 4:50 at the Erasmus Hospital the
teaching hospital of Université libre de Bruxelles in Anderlecht.

Baptism

She was baptised on 14 June 2008 in the chapel of Ciergnon Castle
in the Belgian Ardennes, by Cardinal Godfried Danneels, the Archbishop
of Mechelen-Brussels.

Her godparents are Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden,
Princess Claire of Belgium, and
Count Sébastien von Westphalen zu Fürstenberg.

School

Princess Eléonore attended primary school at the Dutch speaking
school Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege in central Brussels.

As of September 2020, she attends Heilig Hart College, a Dutch language
secondary school in the Wezembeek-Oppem.

French and English are also part of her education, she lives with her parents,
her sister Elisabeth and her two brothers Gabriel and Emmanuel
at the Royal Palace of Laeken.

Interests

According to the site monarchie.be

Princess Eléonore plays the violin and practices the following sports:
swimming, skiing, sailing, tennis and aikido.

The Princess is regularly involved as a volunteer to support the most
vulnerable. For example, during the covid crisis, the Princess had
several telephone contacts with isolated elderly people in residential
care centers to support them. She also baked waffles for the elderly
and the homeless during this period.

Hobby

Princess Eléonore plays the violin. She likes reading and drawing.
She likes to practice cycling, swimming, skiing and sailing.

Fashion

Princess Eléonore was used to wear what her mother wanted, or
to re-wear things from her elder sister princess Elisabeth. However
the latest years she developped her own style. She wore the same
dress from Diane von Furstenberg as Crown Princess Amalia of
the Netherlands. She also likes to wear Maje.

The future

I'm very curious how Princess Eléonore of Belgium will grow up
and how she will behave as a youngster and an adult.
