Henry, the young King (born on 28 February 1155 - died on
11 June 1183) was the son of King Henry II of England and
Eleanor, Duchess of Aquitaine. He married Margaret of
France and he was a member of the Houses of Plantagenet
and Angevin.



Francis III, Duke of Brittany (born on 28 February 1518 -
died on 10 August 1536) was the son of King Francis I of
France and Claude Duchess of Brittany. He was a member of
the House of Valois-Angoulême.



Deaths

Cosimo II, Grand Duke of Tuscany (born on 12 May 1590 -
died on 28 February 1621) was the son of Ferdinando I of
Tuscany and Christina of Lorraine.



Christian IV of Denmark (born on 12 April 1577 - died on
28 February 1648) was the son of Frederick II of Denmark
and Sofie of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. He was a member of
the House of Oldenburg.



Alfonso XIII of Spain (born on 17 May 1886 - died on
28 February 1941) was the son of Alfonso XII of Spain
and Maria Christina of Austria. He was a member of the
House of Bourbon.




Events

On 28 February, the Día de Andalucia takes place (The
Day of Andalusia) in which the Andalusian electorate
voted for the statue that made Andalusia an autonomous
community of Spain.

Henry the Young older brother of Richard I (Lionheart) his tomb it seems is near his Brothers that contains his heart. I always find it strange that some of the Kings back then tended to favour staying in France
