Who was Prince Frederick of Great Britain?
On 13 May 1750, Prince Frederick of Great Britain was born as a son of
Frederick, Prince of Wales and Princess Augusta of Saxe-Coburg. He was
a member of the House of Hanover.
On 17 June 1750, Prince Frederick of Great Britain was christened. His
godparents were:
- Prince George, his brother who became later King George III;
- Prince Wilhelm of Saxe-Coburg, his maternal uncle;
- Princess Augusta, his sister.
Prince Frederick of Great Britain was intelligent and he read a lot of books,
but he had a bad health.
On 29 December 1765, at the age of 15 he died at Leicester House in London.
